Alex has great attention to detail, striving towards perfection on all projects he is involved in. He brings his project management, forward-thinking and problem-solving skills to the table.
As a quantity surveyor by trade, he worked locally and abroad. This eventually led to starting his own successful construction company. Utilizing his organization skills, creative thinking, and solution-driven mentality he’s completed many high-end projects successfully.
As a passionate nature lover with an extensive hiking résumé, he has considerable knowledge of the fynbos biome, as well as a keen interest in medicinal and edible plants. His love of fynbos has inspired his newest business venture, ‘Cape Fynbos Tea’, which focuses on indigenous fynbos teas and their health benefits.
Cynthia is down-to-earth with a devotion to people’s upliftment and the environment. She has lived and traveled extensively all- over Southern Africa and globally and brings passion, positivity, and diligence to all she does.
Her career path has seen her working as a qualified social worker, a special needs and Montessori teacher, a human resources manager, and an event manager. Her creativity, project management expertise, people skills, and drive all contribute to her achievements.
Cynthia currently runs a successful hospitality business, coordinating and resourcing events for up to 5 000 people. She has managed the 121 Mining Indaba events for the past 10 years. When not working, she is hiking and enjoying nature.
